Five facts about our membership fund

Members often ask what their annual fee actually pays for. Here are five straight answers from this year's ledger.

1. Roughly 61% of membership income goes directly into field programmes: camps, kits, and classes.
2. 18% pays for storage and transport, which is the line item that lets us move ration kits the same evening they are packed.
3. Administration takes just under 9%, most of it on the accountant who reviews every receipt.
4. Every contribution is recorded against our registration number and reviewed once a year by an independent auditor.
5. The full summary is shown to members at the annual meeting, and any member may request the detailed ledger by email.
